Cup Of Tea

2019 Hong Kong, Teavana Core Store

The first Teavana store in Hong Kong is a celebration of nature’s organic beauty, inspired by the vibrant world of coffee and tea botanicals. Designed to bring the uplifting energy of the natural landscape into the urban environment, the store creates an inviting and dynamic experience for customers.

The facade, with its tessellated segments finished in Venetian stucco and warm terracotta tones, evokes the contours of coffee-growing landscapes. Three elegant arched openings punctuate the design, framing views of the Starbucks and Teavana bars as well as the merchandising wall. These welcoming entries draw customers into the space with a sense of discovery.

Inside, a lively yet relaxed atmosphere is achieved through the thoughtful use of materials. Walls are clad in flecked green tiles and light honey-toned wood, while the bar area features fresh white matte-glazed 3D tiles that echo the flowing shapes of the facade, seamlessly connecting the exterior and interior design elements.

Adding a touch of artistic sophistication, the store features a stunning mural by Copenhagen-based artist Betina Helles. This elegant artwork serves as the store’s centerpiece, embodying the harmony of design, nature, and artistry.

The first Teavana store in Hong Kong sets a new benchmark for blending design, functionality, and a celebration of the natural world, offering an experience that’s as refreshing as the beverages it serves.
