2020 Dangton, Korea. Reserve Store
Situated on the ground floor of the Dangton Station Shopping Mall, the Reserve Store presents an inviting and vibrant display for all who enter. Its prime location not only captures attention but also ignites curiosity, creating an engaging experience that encourages exploration and discovery.
The design of the store fosters a warm and welcoming ambiance, seamlessly blending elegance with comfort. The use of neutral hues and soft seating arrangements creates cozy, intimate areas that are perfect for relaxation.
In a modern, tech-driven urban landscape, the store draws inspiration from traditional Korean art and craftsmanship, integrating these elements into a contemporary framework. This unique combination results in a space that honors cultural heritage while embracing innovation.
Materials: The store features natural materials like wood and stone, which echo the principles of traditional Korean architecture.
Color Palette: A calming color palette is employed, inspired by the beauty of Korean pottery and textiles.
Art Installations: The store showcases modern interpretations of traditional Korean art forms, including hanbok-inspired displays and intricate embroidery.
The reserve bar, a central feature of this project, is accentuated by a distinctive ceiling design that begins above the bar and subtly extends throughout the store. This design choice links the various spaces, creating a cohesive visual theme that enhances the overall experience.
